The Shadow of Expectation is the thought that the future holds greater promise than the current moment. 

When we are always waiting for something in our lives to improve, we miss the boat of truly enjoying a richly satisfying life in the now. When things do not live up to our unrealistic expectations, we then feel disappointed and stop trusting life.

The Gift of Detachment unfolds when we stop to actually listen to our current lives without the expectation of the future. This isn’t to say you need to give up hope, instead hold onto faith that your life is one great adventure after another. 

Without the grip of expectation, you are able to lean into trust and become more and more fearless. Your heart begins to crack little by little and you accept life for what it is. You actually view your biggest obstacles as your greatest opportunities.

The Siddhi of Celebration can be likened to a rebirth. It comes as a complete overhaul of your atomic structure (stay with me here!). You finally realize that there are actually no endings in life. Bliss can be reached when all thinking ceases and you finally embody the present moment. 

When you celebrate every single up and down of your life – every shadow, every gift, every siddhi, that is the heart of Celebration. It is likened to Heaven on Earth.

True surrender is knowing that this Siddhi (and all Siddhis) live inside you, closer than your own heartbeat.
